NOS 1985 Bianchi Centenario Campagnolo C-Record Limited Edition #602 Rare

  

Offered is a NOS Campagnolo Centenario. New Old Stock, never used or ridden, completely original and includes the original Bianchi Centenario bike carry bag, Silca frame pump with hand stitched leather ends and leather wrapped/stitched water bottle... Just like the hand stitched leather bar wrap.

All items are genuine and original to this special collectors edition bicycle. For more detailed pics in larger format I have the following gallery. These were a limited edition bicycle commemorating Bianchi's 100th year in business (1985). They came with a selection of Campagnolo C-Record components including the fabled "sheriff star" hubs and 3TTT bar & stem that are also pantographed.

Even the tyres & rims are Bianchi branded/labelled just for this special issue bicycle. The headbadge is gold plated!!! The frame is a smokey dark chromovelato finish. Also included (but not pictured) with this bicycle is a Scicon AeroTech Hardshell bike case. BB shell stamped 00.107.

Seat tube 59.5cm c-c, 61cm c-t. Top tube 57.5cm c-c. 170mm cranks with 42/53t chainrings. Regina 14-21t 6 speed freewheel. Time warp condition considering it's 36 years old, there are small blemishes consistent with storage/shopwear from being displayed over the years and some small pin sized marks on the chromovelato finish in some areas which I'm happy to discuss in detail with any prospective buyers.

The original tubular tyres hold air and are glued securely. There's slight yellowing/dried grease on some of the parts but this is easily cleaned up by the new custodian if that's to their liking. I point all this out as I'm really picky, OCD in fact... Notwithstanding the overall condition easily rates 9.5 out of 10 (10 being brand new out of the factory).

It is Museum quality, jaw dropping to look at and has so many special details. There's little doubt that it's the most collectable production bike made and being NOS (never ridden) is indeed a very rare & collectible gem!!

If required I can arrange for a Local Bike Shop to carefully wrap and pack this in the Scicon case (at the buyers additional expense). Dimensions of the SCICON hardshell case are L 114 cm x D 36 cm x H 94 cm & once pack the total weight is 26.5kg's. To help make this dream a reality...
