Montegrappa 1995 Limited Edition Dragon Fountain Pen AND Rock Crystal Inkpot

  

1995 Dragon Fountain Pen & Inkpot. I have been collecting pens, pen accessories, coins and limited edition bronzes for nearly 30 years and I have decided to downsize my collections and sell off nearly everything I have collected over the years.

Pen from my personal collection: A. 1995 Montegrappa Limited Edition Dragon Fountain Pen with a Medium ("M") Nib, Number 1659 of 1912, and Rock Crystal Inkpot, Number 286 of 500. FOUNTAIN PEN and ROCK CRYSTAL INK POT are in NEW, MINT & PRISTINE CONDITION! Fountain Pen NEVER Dipped, Inked, Used or Displayed! Created in 1995, the set consists of the solid sterling silver cast over celluloid fountain pen #1659/1912 and in inkpot (or ink well as some call it) carved out of a single piece of rock crystal with a solid sterling silver dragon creature circled around it. Both the fountain pen and the inkpot dragon's eyes are made of natural rubies. Both the fountain pen and the inkpot have NEVER been used, dipped, inked or displayed. It was fun after so many years to have opened these boxes to photograph these two magnificent creations. I fell in love all over again with this incredible and RARE set!

The fountain pen has an 18K Gold Nib and is a Medium ("M") nib. There is some silver tarnish on the fountain pen and dragon inkpot but I thought it best not to touch either one.

Silver tarnish is very simple to use with a jeweler's polishing cloth. I would exercise a great deal of caution polishing these items (I personally would not try to polish the natural age tarnish off them, but everybody's personal preference is different on these matters, some people just don't like silver tarnish). Comes with all original packaging for both the fountain pen and inkpot.

All original Certificate of Authenticity's (COA's) and booklets. The outer Montegrappa cardboard packing box shows some minor age wear on the ends. Please see all photos as they are considered part of the description of this listing.
